Our Story
At GABIN which means "Welcome Guest" in Korean, every visitor is greeted with our signature hospitality, making them feel warmly welcomed.
GABIN Korean Grill first opened in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea, in November 1998. Led by owner-chef Chun, it quickly became known for its delicious and beautifully crafted traditional Korean dishes. Over the years, GABIN won several awards before closing in 2019. Now, in 2025, GABIN is back — this time in Korea town, Los Angeles. Using fresh, local ingredients, the restaurant is starting a new chapter, blending tradition with creativity.
The new menu features standout dishes like our in-house made cold buckwheat noodles mixed with perilla oil, beef broth soup with water parsley, and soy sauce-marinated Korean crab.
GABIN is also the first in Los Angeles to offer à la carte Korean jeon (pan-fried battered Korean pancake) paired with traditional Korean rice wine, makgeolli.
Come visit GABIN Korean Grill and experience the return of a beloved classic, now reborn in the heart of Korea town, Los Angeles.
